Many LGBTQ+ youth face homelessness due to lack of support from their families and communities.

By providing 24/7 housing, meals, healthcare, and other life-saving resources in an affirming environment, the Ali Forney Center helps protect LGBTQ+ and at-risk youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them with the tools needed to thrive independently.
Our Partnership: Turning Kindness Into Action
Much like Team Beekman, the people behind the Ali Forney Center’s mission believe a little Kindness goes a long way.
From warm meals and safe housing to birthday celebrations and arts programs, they provide over 2,000 LGBTQ+ and at-risk youth the services and support needed to develop pride and security in their identities. Talk about Kindness in action!
That said, despite being the largest organization in the United States dedicated to protecting young members of the LGBTQ+ community from the harms of homelessness, the Ali Forney Center still relies entirely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to provide these life-saving services.

The Pride Collection: More Than Packaging
To create our special-edition packaging for this year’s Pride Gift Set, we teamed up with Lexa (she/her) and Joseph (he/they), two young artists from the Ali Forney Center’s Art Therapy Group.
The group is one of many made to help young people build confidence, feel seen and validated, and cope with difficult emotions caused by homelessness and family rejection.
“I can’t go back to Tunisia because it’s illegal under the constitution to be part of the LGBTQ community, so art has been part of my journey,” says Joseph.
For Lexa, art is a source of joy.
“I have always loved flowers and abstract art which is why I made those types of drawings.”
By using art to navigate and tell their stories, both Lexa and Joseph are building trust in their own voices—a crucial skill that will help them go on to lead thriving lives with pride.
