I’ve spent more than 40 years in the beauty industry.
I’ve sat in product development meetings. I’ve evaluated hundreds of formulas. I’ve watched ingredients become overnight sensations only to quietly disappear a few years later. I’ve seen skincare evolve from simple moisturizers to acids, retinoids, peptides, growth factors, and everything in between.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: Healthy skin never goes out of style.
Now, as a CEO, my relationship with skincare has changed. I no longer chase the newest trend or the strongest active. I’m not trying to look 30. I’m trying to have the healthiest skin I can have at this stage of my life.
That’s a very different goal. Like many women, my skin became drier over time. It was more reactive than it used to be. Products that once worked suddenly felt too aggressive. I wanted efficacy—but not at the expense of comfort. I wanted visible results without compromising my skin.
That’s what led me to fall in love with Beekman 1802. People often assume that because I’m the CEO, of course I’m going to say I believe in our products. The truth is, my dermatologist told me about the benefits of milk 20 years ago when I had a reaction to a treatment. He told me milk is an anti-inflammatory and heals skin.
Since then, I have learned it is so much more. It’s got peptides, lactic acid, vitamins A, C, E. And more recently, I learned it has exosomes to help regenerate the skin.
I would never ask consumers to trust something that I don’t use myself. If a formula doesn’t earn a permanent place in my own bathroom, it doesn’t earn my enthusiasm.
Milk RX did.
What impressed me wasn’t one dramatic “before and after” moment. It was something much more meaningful. Week after week, my skin became resilient. It felt more hydrated. It looked brighter, tighter, and firmer. The texture improved. It became healthier.
That word—healthy—doesn’t always get the attention it deserves in beauty. We’re conditioned to chase wrinkle reduction, lifting, tightening, and instant gratification. Those things matter, but I’ve come to believe they’re often the result of something deeper. It truly defines what better aging is.
I also think we’ve reached an important moment in skincare. Consumers are incredibly educated. They read ingredient lists. They understand the science. But they also understand something equally important: more isn’t always better. Sometimes stronger products simply create more irritation. Sometimes the answer isn’t adding another active. Sometimes the answer is helping your skin recover.
That’s the philosophy behind Milk RX. It’s about supporting the skin rather than fighting it. It’s about combining advanced science with ingredients inspired by the extraordinary benefits of goat milk to help skin look and behave in a healthier way, for a longer period of time.
Over the years, I’ve realized something else. Confidence doesn’t come from believing you’ve stopped aging. Confidence comes from looking in the mirror and seeing skin that looks vibrant, comfortable, and alive.
That’s what I see today.
Leading a beauty company is a privilege, but it also comes with responsibility. Every product we create carries someone’s hope. Someone is buying it because they want to feel better about themselves. That’s something I never take lightly.
When I recommend Milk RX, I’m not simply talking about a product launch or a marketing campaign. I’m talking about the products I reach for every morning and every evening. I’m talking about formulas that have earned my trust after four decades of evaluating skincare.
And that’s probably the highest compliment I can give.
Kindly,
Jill
