You’ll encounter it in the food, home visits, and activity on the streets. In Cambodia, ancient and modern worlds collide to create an authentic adventure. You will experience the lush countryside, explore the well-preserved temples, and be mesmerized by Angkor Wat.

Crossing the Indochina Peninsula
Beekman Neighbors depart on overnight flights to Hanoi.
Welcome to Vietnam
After arrival, meet your Neighbors for lunch at Bún chả Hương Liên, a hole-in-the-wall spot made famous by the meal that Barack Obama and Anthony Bourdain shared. Next, set off on a city tour followed by a welcome dinner at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant with traditional music.
Explore Ninh Binh
Discover the ancient capital of Hoa Lư in the Ninh Binh region, known for its amazing landscape and outstanding natural beauty. Marvel at the huge limestone rocks emerging from the ground, surrounded by paddy fields.
Journey to HộI An
After a mid-morning flight to Da Nang, explore the city of Hội An on your own Vespa! You will learn about the art of coffee roasting, indulge in panoramic views of the city, visit a local fish market and the rice-paddy-rich countryside, and meet a local mat-weaving family, as well as a family that produces the favorite local brew: rice wine.
Vietnamese Gardening and Cooking
Learn the history of Tra Que Vegetable Village before joining the gardening activities. Help a local family prepare a traditional Vietnamese lunch of tam huu and bánh xèo. Walk the ancient streets of Hội An to see the Japanese Bridge, handicraft workshops, and more.
Explore vibrant Ho Chi Minh City
After a mid-morning flight, enjoy lunch followed by a city tour with visits to the Reunification Palace, the Central Post Office, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Tonight, join your fellow Neighbors for a traditional water puppet show and dinner on a Saigon River cruise.
Discover the Mekong Delta
Head to the city of My Tho and embark on a boat cruise down the Mekong River. Explore Thới Sơn islet, taste homemade honey tea, and visit a local fruit garden. Your afternoon and evening in Ho Chi Minh City are free to explore on your own.
Explore the Cù Chi district
Visit the famous Củ Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Việt Cộng) during both the French and American wars. Tonight, bid farewell to Vietnam with dinner at a local restaurant.
Welcome to Cambodia
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon before visiting an organization that supports local youth. Phare, the Cambodian Circus, tells uniquely Cambodian stories through theater, music, dance, and modern circus acts.
Traverse Siem Reap
Today you’ll explore the area surrounding Siem Reap. Visit Banteay Srey, a 10th-century temple dedicated to Shiva; the Butterfly Centre, a netted tropical garden with free-flying butterflies native to Cambodia; and the Angkor Silk Farm, which promotes Khmer cultural heritage as it teaches you the entire silk process and allows you to dig in to plant fruit trees that provide a local food source.
Life on the Lake
Discover Tonlé Sap Lake with its floating villages and schools, traditional medicine shops, spirit houses, fishing and crocodile farms; experience nature and explore traditional rural lifestyles. Visit the statues at Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm.
The must-see Angkor Wat
Experience the sunrise at Angkor Wat and explore the grounds inside and out. Enjoy a free afternoon in Siem Reap followed by a special farewell dinner in a private village with a decadent five-course Khmer Celebratory Tasting Menu with local musicians.
A free day until your transfer to the Siem Reap airport for your flight home.
