‘Twas two years ago
In old Sharon Springs
Two boys did appear,
Along with their things.

City slickers turned farmers
Who hadn’t a clue
But Farmer John and the internet
Taught them what to do.

They were bested by pigs
And challenged by llama,
But in their fabulous way
They handled the drama.

Tonight! Josh and Brent
Share clips that are new,
And answer the questions
Submitted by you.

Plus baking and crafts
And cocoa by fire,
And Sharon Springs friends
As their own village choir.

So put on your hat
Your mittens and coats,
It’s off to the Beekman
To play with some goats!

SEE HOW WE DECKED THE HALLS THIS YEAR!

Absolutely gorgeous!! Loved this! (I think Brent is probably used to moving at that speed, judging by all the things he does and oversees daily, LOL.)

Dear Josh, I just finished the book last night and enjoyed it so much. I was born abd brought up in Sharon Springs and lived there except for my 4 years in college.

We lived there until 1995 when we moved to Queensbury, N.Y. ( 7 miles south of Lake George)to be close to our daughter.

I got a kick out of reading about those cluster flies because I was pestered with them for years although my neighbors had none, Go figure!I sympathized with you, Brent in trying to get rid of them. I spoke to the count agent who said there wasn't anything you could do but to keep doing what I was doing which was picking them up with my vacuum cleaner so many times a day.

I have recorded your shows

and am anxious for season

2 to start. When will that be?

Happy New Year, Josh and Brent!

I just wanted to drop a note to let you know my gift of Twelve Months of Beekman Goat soap was one of my favorite presents this year. My thoughtful hubby is also a huge fan of your show and heard me mention (many times) how much I'd like to try it. He got me the 12-mos. collection for Christmas, and I absolutely love it! We live in Utah where the water is very hard and the air very dry. I have sensitive skin, so finding gentle soaps is a challenge. Your soap is wonderful! Very gentle, the scents are subtle, and the bars last a surprisingly long time. What a great gift! I'll be a regular customer from now on.

We loved your holiday special and can't wait for the new season. We wish you much peace and success in the coming year.

Love to Polka Spot, Farmer John and the goats!

Best wishes,

Liz Edwards

Dear Josh & Brent, We think you're fabulous! We love the show (the Holiday Special was truly special) and we love the soap. We've given ourselves two sets of a dozen and David's mom and Dwayne's boss got them as gifts, too. It's a real plus knowing that Dr. Brent lovingly tied each one. We are going to order the cheese real soon. David & Dwayne in Las Vegas

Dear Dr. Brent and Josh,

I sent out all my Christmas Gifts of your wonderful soap, each as a single gift in a little Christmas Sock with a copy of information of the Beekman 1802 Farm and its Products and about the time schedule of the Shows. This way I could advertise both the product and the show at the same time. I use the wonderful Beekman 1802 Cheese as the CENTERPIECE on my Christmas table and printed up little cards with the name of the cheese and info. on it with show time on the reverse. The Cheese was a hit and the Show will be watched by all. I'm having a party for the new season. Let me know what the lineup will be if you can? I am such a fan and I have a ton of marketing Ideas to share with you that will not cost you a cent. I'm just retired and love to help. sort of a been there done that kind of person. Love ya and watch ya. Barb Keep in touch.

Just finished the book at 2:30am last night. Thanks for the great story that is still going on and I have a feeling the website will fun too.

Just know that you guys have accomplished so much more in the past few years that we have in the last 13 on our 20 acres in the Coast Range of Oregon. I keep telling myself it's ok, I'm gonna live here my whole life so there is plenty of time to get it all done.

Enjoy every moment you can along the journey – my favorite feeling is still driving up to my log home and knowing that yep, I get to live here…

Great video card 🙂 I wondered how long it ACTUALLY took you to put up all the decorations?

Really looking forward to the start of Season 2!

Hope you have a wonderful new year (and you hit the million-dollar mark!)

Josh I received your book from my friend Tim. The first night I read half of the book and then started to slow down because I didn't want to finish it. I began pacing myself and finally on Christmas Eve morning I decided I couldn't do anything constructive until I was sure I knew how it would end. Actually, I seemed to be stress free knowing things were ok at the Beekman.Knowing how things can be so stressful trying to run a farm makes me only admire you guys even more. I keep trying to talk Tim into buying a small farm so we can raise sheep and begin dying and selling the wool along with afew other things I believe would be desired. Would you just tell Tim life is to short to not try something new. Thanks for your ongoing reality checks. (why no dogs on the farm?) Sincerely sue t.

Wonderful video. You guys have the BEST holiday ever. I know you've made mine. You remind me of a couple I know who live in Michigan. I just spoke to them and told them about your show and your soap and cheese. They have been recruited-lol

Enjoy, enjoy your holidays. Stay safe, happy and healthy!

Love this video but had a question. You have a real tree in a great looking planter, how did u do that? Did you make it or did you buy it somewhere. We bought our frist real tree this year and its so crocked and even fell on me. Its the right size for the size tree but yours looks way better then mine. If you can tell me any info on your tree stand that would be great. You guys are the best. Have a great Chriistmas:)

Hi, Marci

We purchased a red cedar planter and put a tree stand in the bottom. We then mounted our power strips inside so that we wouldn't have a lot of messy cords

Loved the holiday special. Keep watching repeats now. Nothing better to put one in the Christmas mood and am forwarding it to others to let them know about the Beekmans. Read Josh's book last month and really appreciated the honesty and behind-the-scenes look at your entrepreneurial struggles. Many good, happy years to come. Wish you would sell copies of the advertising photo of the goats (not Gaynor's painting which is beautiful) standing on different levels. Would buy and frame for kitchen.

Brent & Josh, enjoyed your holiday special very much. It's still on my DVR to watch again. Can't wait for your new season to begin and also can't wait to visit Sharon Springs when the winter is over. Brent, you probably will remember me as I'm the one that always comes there alone. Oh, finally got to buy your cheese, gave some to a family member and she couldn't stop raving about it. It's absolutely delicious. Will your coffee mugs ever be available on your website? I bought one for myself at the harvest festival and when I drove there to pick up my cheese last month, I checked with Stephane and she said they have been sold at the special Sharon Springs events but not at the Beekman 1802 Mercantile. I was going to buy 2 for Christmas presents. Hope you two have a very Merry Christmas and that the new year brings you much happiness. I'll be looking forward to March and your new TV season. Love you guys!!!!!

Thank you for the time you spend sharing with us, your friends. It is so nice to have you add such a personal touch. I live on an Island between the US and Canada and find it very cozy and sheltered in the winter, however we have very few people at this time of year. Maybe 800 year rounders. This year I am spreading cheer with Beekman 1802 Gifts to my family and friends. We are also having a Grandchild make its entrance in Feb. so the Baby package will be a hit. So glad to be able to share your wonderful products. Oh! our Christmas centerpiece is the CHEESE!!!!!!!. Love you and just can't wait for more.

I LOVE YOU GUYS' HOLIDAY CARDS. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME WHO DOES "DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH" IN ONE OF THE PREVIOUS HOLIDAY CARDS. USUALLY THE MUSIC/ARTIST IS AT THE END, BUT IT WASN'T ON THAT ONE. I LOVE THAT VERSION OF IT. LOVED THE SPECIAL- RECIEVED MY CHEESE, ONION JAM AND GENEROUS FRUITCAKE THE OTHER DAY, AND I SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT BEEKMAN 1802 EVERY CHANCE I GET!!!!!!! BEST WISHES FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY AND CONTINUED SUCCESS. PAIGE
