Nell's Grandmother

Nell’s grandmother told us to pick her some bleeding heart flowers.  We picked them and went back to the porch.  She gently pulled apart the two outside petals of the flower to show us what was inside.  There were two, small pink bunnies inside!!!  Then she removed the two large petals from the front and the back of the the flower and there were two dancing shoes!  The parts that stayed in her hand looked like a heart with a line down the middle.  When she removed the line, there were two earrings and a drumstick. So many things INSIDE a bleeding heart flower.  Brent said it looked like two pink bunnies, two knives, two spoons and a drumstick. I didn’t think so.  Brent is always thinking about food.

My grandmother showed me that when you open a bleeding heart, there's a "lady in a bathtub"! Try it. 🙂

I am Corrine's sister and visited your lovely estate this past summer. Hope all is going well. I am enjoying getting your emails and browsing through the website movie and "happenings".

Happy Autumn!

I never knew there was so much going on inside a Bleeding Heart! (It reminds me a little of open-heart surgery, though.)
