We try (repeat try) to talk a quick walk around the farm every night at sunset during the summer. Seems to help us – and Önder – sleep a little better. We always carry our phone or camera with us to catch the amazing plays of light. Here are some of our favorite sunset pics of this summer from the flower & vegetable gardens & yard.

Absolutely beautiful. A living picture. I am happy you boys have such a lovely home and life. Beekman and its gardens are exactly what my heart has wished for all my life. Love, Rhonda

I grew Nasturtiums from seed for the first time last year, and some came back this spring! They look like the ones in your picture. The chickens love them, and I even like their peppery flavor…in small doses.

We had someone stop by yesterday who said, “I never regretted growing up on a farm…” Me either!

I enjoyed your farm photos so much. The both of you have such gentle, artistic souls – it really comes through both in your photos and the way you lovingly take such good care of the farm. I would love to visit someday (I live in Southern California).

Love the photos. Thanks for letting those of us far away get some enjoyment of your beautiful property. And thanks for the goat cam. With my insomnia, it helps me get through the night. 🙂

Absolutely stunning! I grew up on a farm, and little did I know that those would be some of the best days of my life! There’s a tranquility living so close to the earth. I’m sure you both feel it every day.
