Ginger truly does top the list of effective natural home remedies. Used throughout history around the world, ginger harnesses incredible healing power: not only does it help settle upset tummies and soothe migraines, but numerous studies suggest it can protect against cancer. Opt for organic where possible.

Below are a few great ginger shot combos. Each of the following makes 1 shot.

Asian  pear drop

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh ginger
  • ¼ stalk  lemongrass
  • ½ pear

Sunshine ginger

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh ginger
  • 1 blood orange or 2 clementines
  • a dusting  of cinnamon

Blushing ginger

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh ginger
  • 2 cardamom pods (feed them whole through your juicer or grind the seeds and add after juicing), 1½-inch piece of rhubarb
  • 1 small or ½ medium beet

Winter ginger

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh ginger
  • 1 apple
  • 1 drop oregano essential oil  (add the oregano after juicing)

Persian ginger

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh (unsprayed) rose petals or ¼ teaspoon rosewater
  • 15 pitted cherries

Solo ginger

  • 1 (¾-inch) piece fresh  ginger
  • ¼ lemon (peel and all)
  • a dusting  of cayenne pepper

Additional Information

Peel and juice the ginger first, then feed the herb or spice through the juicer and, finally, add the fruit.

Hi neighbors. I’ve been a neighbor for several years. Have you guys heard of DoTerra all pure essential oils. They are the purest oils on the market and I think your 2 companies would make a great fit. Not sure how you get your oils for your scents but you might check it out.
