This is a refined sipping party.

To enhance your viewing pleasure and to make each and every episode of The Fabulous Beekman Boys as fabulous as possible, we’re going to encourage the playing of a nice parlor game.

Each week, we’ll post a new Beekman 1802 elixir recipe for you to use and give you a new reason to “raise your glass”—to your mouth that is.

This week the beverage of choice is our sangria (click here for the recipe).

Raise your glass every time Brent and Josh have a “gentleman’s disagreement”.

Feedback? Are you (and I say this lovingly) crazy? Your show, your love for each other and your amazing perspective on life as it should be lived is not only inspirational and entertaining but also one of the most motivational and "bucolic" gifts that have been offered to the general public in some time.

Josh will be glad to know that I went out today and purchased all three of his books–with my two granddaughters in tow! Fans forever of the Beekman farm, Farmer John, Polka Spot, and the grace, humanity and elegance that lovingly and laughingly define our hosts to a better life–Josh and Brent and their world.

Both grandgirls, 7 and 11, are now tremendous fans and I am so delighted that they "get" your vision! I wish that we lived closer so that we could help shovel manure!! And I am only joking a little…

Brava to two beautiful people!

Your show, your farm, your relationship and your exquisite vision on how a life can and should be lived are absolutely fabulous! How generous of both of you to share them with all of us!

I love the show. I also love the shopping section and especially like the heirloom linens and Beekman Baby items.

How interesting that the cable provider in the area where the show is based, doesn't let people watch the show. I went to college just down the road ( @ Cobleskill ) and now am hooked on the show & the area

Thanks, Frank. They're working on making the show available in the area so that everyone in the village can be proud

Great. Thanks Dr. Brent. We will be attending/supporting and will bring friends from Phoenix who will be visiting. Also, we called the store today to inquire about hours for Sunday or Monday but no answer or reply. Are you able to share?

Thanks again…

How very awesome 🙂 My partner and I were able to view at Discovery on Demand and are hooked. In fact, Sharon Springs is only an hour from our home in Saratoga so we will be headed toward main street this weekend and will pop into the Main Street store for some soap and cheese.

BTW, would also like to attend the next Harvest Festival…assuming there will be one!!

I'll keep sipping in mind when I actually get to try it next week. We had a horrible storm here and lost our power, so I didn't get to see the show until yesterday afternoon. It seemed a little early for drinking, so I just watched. I loved the show though. It is now on my Tivo. You two tickled me to no end.

I've been waiting to see this for weeks. And I think the game might be fun to try too.

Wow–elixir of the week: How perfectly appropriate for the anticipated launch of the show. Like Annnarie, we don't get Planet Green in Cobleskill, so thanks for the tip about finding it online and on cable.

We in Cooperstown will drink and read the book at our book club.

Time warner does not provide Planet Earth.

Looking forward to the cocktails!

Hi, Annmarie

We're working on that. Check Planetgreen.com to view episodes on line. If you have digital cable from Time Warner you can also see the show on Discovery Video on Demand
