All vendors will be set up and ready to greet you by 10:00am and will be open for business until 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday

Parking information: 

Parking is at the Sharon Springs Central School on the corner of State Route 10 and US 20 (just behind the Stewarts Station).  Shuttle buses will run on the half-hour throughout the day.  Additional parking available at Sunnycrest Orchard on US 10.  Shuttles are also available from this location. Street parking is discouraged on festival days for safety reasons.

Chris Ottman will demonstrate how he creates his popular Cherry Valley Tincicles. Demonstrations all day in front of Cobbler and Company.


Start browsing over 100 vendors selling seeds, plants, crafts and food.  Or ease into your day with a FREE concert in the pavilion in the park.


Honeybee expert Dean Haskin, owner of Mickle Hollow Maple and Honey, will host a discussion and Q & A about the importance of bees and also answer questions if you are interested in starting a hive of your own!

HIGH NOON at Chalybeate Park

Become an honorary citizen of Sharon Springs!  Mayor Doug Plummer will lead a “swearing in”  ceremony.  Line up to shake his hand and get your authentic certificate of citizenship

12:30p – Celebrate Your New Sharon Springs Honorary Citizenship with the Dancing Farmer

The Dancing Farmer, Jay Lavery, (featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year!) from Sharon Spring’s own Dancing Farm will be joining us under the pavilion to help celebrate our newly inducted honorary citizens in only the best way possible – by dancing!  Come join Jay, his dancing muck boot and a couple of his baby goats to celebrate all things Garden Party.  Now if baby goat cuteness doesn’t want to make you dance – we don’t know what will!!!

On Saturday only!  Stewart’s Ice Cream will be at Festival helping you make your own FREE ice cream sundae!


Meet Rebecca Proctor, the creative director of Mackenzie-Childs at the Mercantile. Brent, Josh, and Rebecca will autograph the LIMITED EDITION  MKC/Beekman 1802 enamelware caddy collaboration and talk about how our two upstate NY companies share so many similarities.

BONUS:  in honor of Garden Party, one person who attends this event will win a famous Mackenzie-Childs hand-painted tea kettle! Must be present at 2:00 to win.

Ever wanted to raise chickens in your backyard?  Author and expert Melissa Caughey will be on hand to answer all of your questions AND will have copies of her book on raising chickens on hand for purchase.


All day both days!

Get a taste of summer!  Chef Lee at The American Hotel will be bringing in fresh lobsters from the coast of Massachusetts to make lobster rolls!  Get there early (the last two years they’ve sold out REALLY quickly).  Look for other great food vendors set up in Chalybeate Park with the picnic tables!

Tea & Rose(boro):  Once known for its high teas and tea dances, for the first time in many, many years, The Roseboro in Sharon Springs is excited to be bringing back some of that tradition to the hotel. With its grand opening during the Garden Party weekend on May 27th and 28th, Miss Lodema’s Tea Room, located in the hotel Dining Room, will feature a quaint experience for you to relax and enjoy the finest quality teas from locally-sourced to around the world. Experience formal afternoon tea in an elegant yet relaxed setting serenaded by the grand piano for a true  high tea experience that includes soup, assorted tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, decadent desserts and as much tea as you can drink. Other beverages will also be available. Choosing your own vintage tea cup allows you to individualize your tea experience while savoring your favorite flavor.

Seating for the Garden Party Weekend will be between (Reservation Only): 11:00 AM; 12:30 PM; 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Reservations can be made by calling 518-860-5513.

The Spring House Spa will be “inside out” at the Garden Party! Meaning they will be out in the yard offering chair massage and card readings with their usual crew of jewelry and produce vendors! They are also hosting a bake sale to support Sharon Springs Festivals! Hurry over to get the good stuff!

Have tea and scones with Sweet Paul!  Paul Lowe is the founder and editor of Sweet Paul magazine and one of the most creative people we’ve ever met. He’ll teach us a cute and quick Springtime craft project that you’ll be able to take home with you!


Spring and Summer in the Mohawk Valley is the perfect time for a long and winding drive through the countryside. What better way to do it than in a classic car?  Big Al’s classic car show will set up in the lawn across from the Roseboro Hotel with live DJ music (weather permitting)


Meet world-famous hat-maker Linda Pagan at the Mercantile (you may recognize her from the pages of the Almanac). She’ll give tips on what type of hat is best for your head and facial structure.  She is also bringing 20 of her famous creations for men and women. The first 20 men and women who RSVP to be “models” get to parade down Main Street with us and Linda in the first ever Garden Party hat parade!.  RSVP to
