The goats can speak on Christmas Eve
The goats can speak on Christmas Eve

A business meeting kept me away from the farm this weekend so in my absence, the animals put together a few holiday greetings for the blog.

Tom and Hennie and their version of “Deck the Halls”.

Lady, the farm’s dog-in-residence, is 13 years old and deaf, so she will not have to listen to the turkeys’ rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus.

Looks-a-like and Polka Spot pretending to bring me some figgy pudding.  (I think they ate it all before they arrived.)

And, of course, the goats send all of their love and good tidings.  I can’t tell if this was before or after they hit the hard cider.  Their holiday parties can get pretty wild

Keep an eye on your email for your own e-holiday greeting from the farm sometime this week. (And, of course, if your haven’t signed up to get the BEEKMAN 1802 newsletters, then by all means subscribe.)

Does Beekman have a donkey? Ours guards the goats! You’d love one, ohhhh but maybe PolkaSpot would get jealous!

That's a lovely tom turkey. I had 4 wild ones marching round & round my van admiring their own reflections, for about 3 hours today. Good thing their pecking isn't any stronger or I would have dents all over my vehicle. LOL

Only the normal amount 🙁

I guess I shouldn't say that Zorro and Jolene look just alike b/c our cat is slightly obese – guess he needs to come run around on the farm with Jolene for some exercise!

Oh, don't make Zorro feel bad because he is digit deficient. I'm sure he makes up for it in other ways 🙂
Jolene's new best friend is our new pig. She sits on the wall of the pig pen all day long
