2014 Harvest Festival sm

It’s Harvest Time again! The world-famous Sharon Springs Harvest Festival is scheduled for September 20 & 21st. If you loved our previous Harvest Festivals, you’re going really be excited about the new things we have in store this year. Two big new developments:

1. A Main Stage will be set up under our brand new Chalybeate Park Pavillion. We have amazing presentations, demos & events scheduled all day and evening, on Saturday and Sunday. (See schedule below.)

2.We have our first official Festival cosponsor: Etsy!  We’ve been big fans of Etsy’s for many years. They’ve helped thousands of craftspersons earn a living doing what they love. etsy2
And now Etsy is officially coming to the Sharon Springs Harvest Festival. In addition to helping us finish our new Chalybeate Park Pavillion, Etsy will be setting up an “Etsy Makers Village.” (Read more below.)

Is there a list of the Etsy vendors that are at the festival? I would like to look online at some of their products.

Apparently you only allow positive comments and remove the ones that are not complimentary? I see my comment has been removed, even though it was not at all nasty. BTW you act as if this is your harvest festival, when in fact, It’s not, The people of Sharon springs have been running it just fine, before the two of you had tried to take it over.

Well, you can thank the fabulous Beekman Boys for really putting Sharon Springs on the map…before I really had no idea what S.S. had to offer…and now I love it, all because these boys introduced me. So you can thank them, for the obvious increase in revenue each year…they have really revived this town.

Are you serious? Etsy? They have many vendors on there, selling things from other countries and have never made a craft in their lives. They also rip off big name companies like disney. Thanks for the heads up I know plenty of people who won’t go, just because they are there.

We have many things that were given to us for our wedding from the Mercantile. There was a wonderful note in the cookbook to us that we thought was wonderful. We may bring it to have it signed again. We look forward to visiting for the day and to cheer Chris on, become town members, tour the farm and fly a kite. We’re hoping to have a nice honey moon dinner at the American and then drive back to Boston. We’re so excited to be coming! Its going to be a wonderful experience. Thank you again for everything your doing and arranging!
