- The Wasserman Home, Sharon Springs, NY
We had a lovely late spring dinner this weekend at a friend’s home in the village of Sharon Springs. We learned dozens of things during the visit, but we’d most like to share some photos of the historic wallpaper decorating the dining room of this grand 1860’s home.

- Stunning Zuber wall art

- Beautiful surroundings for a dinner party
The wallpaper was created by Zuber in Paris, and is original to the house. In fact, the design is still in their archives. An 1860’s pattern is actually almost modern for Zuber, which began manufacturing papers in 1797. They are now the only paper factory in the world that still uses wood block printing – and generally from the original wood blocks.
(p.s. The fiddlehead ferns were also noteworthily delicious:)
