Brent, thanks for the response. I’ll definitely try that.

Have you ever had, and/or made Limoncello? It’s wonderful and often used as a digestif.

If you don’t have a recipe, I’ll be happy to send one along. It’s a rather lengthy process to make, but an easy one.

I’m thoroughly enjoying your website … the experiences, the photos, and the recipes. To me, there’s nothing as pure and fulfilling as getting one’s hands in the dirt, connecting with the earth and watching that pairing produce a wonderful garden result.

Do you have any recipes for using Elderflowers? I had a wonderful drink in Sweden using these flowers. Very light and refreshing!

what an amazing way to capture the height of floral summer in one fabulous sip. although my lilac season has passed, I will be snipping a few lavender buds and making some lavender simple syrup. Maybe I’ll steep a few pineapple sage leaves and mix it with the lavender syrup for a earthy, floral sip. have you ever steeped anything from your garden?

I make a very similar simple syrup using the lavender blooms here at Merry Oaks and use it to make wonderful Lavender Sorbet; refreshing and intoxicating at the same time!

On the wedding and birthday episode you mentioned a cucumber beverage. Would you just substitute the cucumbers for the lavendar and if so how much? Thanks so much.
