A Convenient Arrangement

Quick and easy.

Quick and easy.

Here’s a very simple way to make multiple dramatic flower arrangements in no time flat.  Just let Mother Nature do all the work.

Using a flower that has multiple blooms per steam (already perfectly-spaced!) fill a candlestick that has a long core with water and plop in your blossoms.

A simple silver candlestick and a pom-pom hydrangea makes a beautiful statement.  Imagine these lined up down a table or as the centerpieces for a bridal shower.  For heightened drama, choose candlesticks of varying heights.

Excellent! I will use the candlesticks that wait for their plate mate. Thanks again, Brent

I have 3 odd antique berry dishes, as they were once called, that have a cut glass design. Very sparkly little bowls that I have used with candles or to float one large flower. Used with 2 crystal candlesticks it makes a nice grouping on the table or even in an unused fireplace for a party. Fill with water and float cranberries for the holidays-you can even stick in a few holly leaves and/or a small pillar candle. The red of the berries and the candlelight combined with water and glass makes for a very sparkly arrangement!

I like it! This might be a very lovely idea to try around the holidays. We did something similar using small red peppers as a base for flower arrangements.

Speaking about holidays, I’m guessing that beautiful turkey in the barnyard is definitely invited to the Beekman Thanksgiving………
Maybe you could honor him by making those little placecard holders we made in art class out of pine cones and cupcake papers……(ok, I’m dating myself…..)

2 of my friends have daughters getting married next September-the hydrangeas in candlesticks would be awesome for the showers and the weddings! I’ll pass them the link to you……..
