There’s more than one way to support your local farmer’s market!

Even as Beekman 1802 Farm in Sharon Springs, NY, has grown over the last several years, we’ve made it our mission to figure out how to stimulate growth and interest in small-scale, local agriculture in places far and wide.

Last year we launched our Mortgage Lifter line of pasta sauces in which 25% of all profits are set aside to give small farms across the country a “lift”.

This year we are releasing our third Beekman 1802 cookbook, and want to see if it can somehow benefit farms and farmers around the country as well.

The new book, Beekman 1802 Heirloom Vegetable, will help people make the most of the growing and harvest season.  There are 100 delicious recipes that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Our publisher is making a special effort to allow farmer’s markets or CSA’s across America to sell the book as a fundraiser or use it  in a promotion.

We will even sign a bookplate for each book that goes to the farmer’s market so that each person can have an autographed copy of the cookbook.

If you know the director or organizer of your local farmer’s market, please have them send us an email at beekman1802@beekman1802.com  to get information about the program.
